It is accessed by opening the gate side. It opens to the right side, which is less appropriate in countries where driving on the right side of the road, when parking, the sidewalk is often left on that side. There is a damper on the gate to avoid it closes. You can also open the glass independently of the gate.
In the three-door version, the maximum that it is parallelepiped of dimensions 60x110x53 (depth, width and height to the tray covers luggage). In the five-door, it is one of 93x110x37 with second-row seats as late as possible (if they are developed, there are 13 cm), if you use the seven seats, there are only 19 cm away from the support and gate.
In the boot there are some tracks to use them to organize a load systems (these items are sold as accessories)

The Land Cruiser is not touching other body-terrain vehicles designed for use on pavement. The driver may notice “heavy” because the body tilts clearly when cornering and because it is so quick to support the changes as an Audi Q7, BMW X5 or a Lexus RX.
It’s a comfortable car, both with normal suspension as the rear air springs and variable damping. In broken roads, the suspension filtered well field imperfections. With the “KDSS” these imperfections are mitigated even more (just feel, or the steering wheel).
Faced with deep potholes is also very effective on how to cushion the impact. During the presentation has given me the feeling that the rear suspension is drier than the front springs in the version with rear tires, something I’ve noticed with normal spring (the latter three-door body).
