The Audi car company, belonging to the German group Volkswagen, has said that the family of A1 increase with the launch of the new A1 Sportback. This new compact five-door model will be offered in combination with seven powerful and efficient engines, with the change of high-tech S tronic and numerous multimedia equipment.
Externally, the A1 Sportback has a length of 3.95 meters and is primarily intended for a young urban audience. Thus, the new model features a front equipped with a single-frame grille with its top corners, oblique cutting and its headlights, optionally available with xenon lamps and daylight plus integrated LED technology.
As pointed out from Audi, approximately two thirds of the body of this new model has been performed in steels and high maximum strength. It also has taken into account in its manufacture lightweight construction concept provides the basis for an adjusted weight as possible. All this, together with the acoustic comfort of the body, helps ensure a pleasant driving experience behind the wheel of A1 Sportback sport as accurate.
As the range of engines are concerned, the A1 Sportback offers seven four-cylinder engine, three and four TFSI TDI with a power rating ranging from 86 hp to 185 hp. They are governed by the principle of downsizing, displacement by substituting turbocharging, and obtain their fuel through direct injection. Also, except the 1.6 TDI with S tronic and the most powerful gasoline all have the system boot and shutdown.
On the other hand, the most important items of equipment of the new A1 Sportback are infoatainment and multimedia systems, incorporating among other things, MMI navigation plus device with an integrated hard drive, a DVD player and an intelligent voice control.
As pointed out from Audi, this model will have a retail price ranging between 16,720 euros for the basic version to 28,030 euros from the 1.4 TFSI S tronic variant seven-speed finishing Ambition.
