The New Ford Focus measures 4,536 mm, 1,826 mm wide (1,472 mm / 1,477 mm) high and has a wheelbase of 2,648 mm. Over its predecessor is a model 199 mm long, but its width and height is lowered by 13 mm and 23 mm respectively. Compared with an Opel Astra or Renault Megane, Focus is longer and wider.
Interior
The interior of the new Ford Focus retains the traditional interior layout, with the instrument panel positioned in front of the driver and the center console dividing the dashboard, but have added up to three LCD screens (depending on equipment level) that provide much of the information visual (here’s more information on the inside and can see a video here).
Ford Focus is built on a new platform shared with the new Ford C-Max and Ford C-Max Grand.

New petrol engine 155 hp
The new Ford Focus debuts a new petrol engine and two liters of displacement that will offer 155 horsepower, includes direct injection technology with Dual DI Camshaft Variable Independent Regulatory Ti-VCT (Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing, Ti-VCT). A global project of high demand
With the third generation Ford Focus, the American brand aims to double the one million units sold last year 2008 in 2012, marketing the new Focus in 122 countries around the world.
The new Ford Focus will be built initially in Michigan (USA), Saarlouis (Germany) and Chongqing (China). Ford has already confirmed that the ten new models of the new platform will be manufactured in factories in Spain and Russia.
