ARCADY:

2) any real or imaginary place offering peace and simplicity.
3) a utopia.
ARCADY is, put simply, our ideal world. We are inspired by The Libertines, our heroes of modern music. In Arcady, there are no rules, no authority, and no impossibilities. Anything is possible.
ARCADY is a free bimonthly magazine. At this point in time, ARCADY is available only online, but who knows what the future may hold. It is the brainchild of two music-obsessed australian girls who desire little more than to have an outlet to rave fanatic about their new favourite bands.
We love obscurity, originality, punk rock mentality. Simon Amstell, Pete Doherty, less-than-legal mp3 sharing. Patrick Wolf, Kate Jackson, vinyl records. Jarvis Cocker, gigs every night, NME (sometimes), and awesome Australian music (not Wolfmother). We dare to be different.
We want to offer you the freedom to explore new music. We want to open your minds to musicians and bands from all corners of the globe. But above all, we want to restore your faith in love and music. |
